Schlepping Beauty

Schlepping Beauty, our 2017 pantomime for grown-ups opened this week. Vincent Hayes MBE takes the role of master of mayhem as Muddles, the Court Jester, while Paul James plays the courtly King Harry Thrustalot.

According to the story line, Shelby Morgan has been transported from a Welsh call centre to play the bonny Princess Beauty, alongside our magnificent Principal Boy, Lucy Reed.

Nigel Ellacott does not miss any chance to be evil as the wicked Deadly Nightshade. (One of the many highlights of the show is his appearance as Anne Robinson in the schoolroom scene.) Pictured above, Nigel with Sam Sadler (left) and Ben Hutt.

Hayley-jo Whitney is Fairy Nuff, the good fairy who makes sure everything comes out all right in the end and keeps us entertained along the way.

And master, or mistress, of many changes is Andrew Robley who bemuses and bedazzles in equal measure as Nurse Nanny Fanny, pictured here with, left to right, Ellie Self, Ben Hutt, Danny Lawton and Sam Sadler.

Schlepping Beauty – January 25th – March 4th.

Special Gala Performance in aid of the Grand Order of Water Rats February 25th, phone the Box Office for details.
