Nigel Ellacott and Andrew Robley make a handsome couple backstage at rehearsals and are guaranteed to bewitch and bedazzle on stage in equal measure.

Brick Lane Music Hall pantomime connoisseurs will know Nigel Ellacott well in roles in recent pantomimes such as Betty Swallocks in Big Dick Whittington or Dame Vera Minge in Babes in the Wood. This year, Nigel turns the tables from loveable Dame to panto’ villain in his role as Poison Ivy, the wicked queen!

Andrew Robley has appeared in Brick Lane Music Hall pantomimes in many guises, from Dandini, the Prince’s aid de camp, in Cinderella, to Sherriff Loosebottom in Babes in the Wood. This year, Andrew makes his debut as Dame – playing Jack’s mother, Dame Trott.

Andrew has been ably assisted during rehearsals by Steven Metcalfe who brings years of expertise to bear as wig master and costumier. Steven has set wigs for many years for such stars as Danny La Rue, and will add a note of unmistakeable glamour to our humble housewife.
