Why not put the science to the test?

Brick Lane Music Hall’s annual Schools Programme offers Year 6 pupils across the borough the opportunity of a lifetime, over an intense six week period the students are coached by our brilliant team (Led by Jordan Langford and Jack Pallister, pictured below with fellow team members Sam Sadler and Lucy Reed) to perform an end of term Musical Theatre production. This year 8 local schools took part over the summer term, with colourful and moving final productions of Peter and the Lost Children. We hope this will help with their transition to senior school and on to their future lives.
The Brick Lane Music Hall Musical Theatre Summer School is now in its third year, with workshops in movement, performance and prop making for 8 – 13 year olds taking place over a week in July, culminating in the opportunity to perform live in our famous theatre.
This year’s talented crop gave a spirited performance of Dick Whittington to friends and family at the end of a lively week.
In addition to offering theatre coaching in the Summer months, Brick Lane Music Hall holds a benefit night every year to help raise funds for local youth charity Ambition, Aspire, Achieve.
The charity runs a community youth scheme through the Summer at the Terence Brown Arc in Canning Town, with a whole range of activities from sports, games and creative arts and crafts, to exploring the great outdoors, learning bushcraft, and outdoor learning workshops, not only passing on important life skills, but building teamwork, community and confidence for the future.
