Held in conjunction with Silvertown and North Woolwich British Legion, this year’s Remembrance Sunday Service was led by Cannon Anne Easter, Chaplain to Her Majesty the Queen. Also taking part were children from Britannia Village Primary School and Brick Lane Music Hall performers, Andrew Robley who read a moving war poem and sang Let There Be Peace on Earth and Ben Goffe who played The Last Post.

Brick Lane Music Hall staff and friends volunteered their time to attend and wreaths were laid around the memorial by local families, customers, the Police, local councillors and council workers. The Service was followed by tea, coffee and cakes inside the theatre.
