Ross Tomlinson

Ross was born and brought up in Beverley and attended Hymers College in Hull. The son of one of the original artists to appear at Brick Lane Music Hall, Juddith Hibbert, performance was in his genes. He made his professional debut at the age of 10 as a cheeky schoolboy in the Channel 4 drama Longford, directed by Tom Hooper and starring Jim Broadbent and Samantha Morton. He went on to play Dom Robertson in the BBC’s production of A Class Apart. Most recently he has been seen as a guest lead in Casualty, together with featured roles in By Any Means and Doctors, both for the BBC.

Ross first appeared at Brick Lane Music Hall in 2014 in the St Patrick’s Irish Party Week, which showcased his dancing talents, and he subsequently went on to appear in various shows, including traditional music hall shows and our 2017 Anniversary Showcase.

Ross has taken part in our schools programme, assisting with the successful production of Oliver in six local primary schools.

He has recently graduated from University College, London, but continues to make regular appearances at Brick Lane Music Hall, most recently in the St Patrick’s Irish Show and the Wartime show, There’ll Always Be An England.
