His combination of deft virtuosity on the banjo, pleasant singing style and patter delights audiences wherever he appears. He is the number one speciality choice for many show producers and indeed has been selected several times to perform for members of the Royal family - including HRH The Prince of Wales 50th birthday party at Highgrove.
In his busy schedule Steve tours UK Theatres with the highly acclaimed ‘Magnificent Music Hall’ and is also frequently seen in ‘The Good Old Days’ at The City Varieties, Leeds. Steve is a regular member of the company at London’s famous ‘Brick Lane Music Hall’ and has travelled the world entertaining on Silversea, P+O and Cunard Cruise liners as well as the Saga Rose and Saga Ruby.
Steve is proud to have been given the accolade of being made a member of the Grand Order of Water Rats.
Steve has that rare ability to tailor the act to the audience on the day going up or down the age range from 25 to 95 and carefully crafting the act to appeal to that audience. He is as at home at The Ritz as he is in Bethnal Green. His wonderful mix of Music Hall, Variety and Stand-up are a guaranteed success.
Steve plays his beautiful 1930 'Vega Artist' banjo - providing a rare opportunity to hear a great player, playing a classic instrument.
